Samsung Galaxy Portal i5700 Review is for offering you a detailed information about the new phone from Samsung Galaxy which is a turning point for the leading company in cell phones. It is second copy of Samsung’s Android phone. However it is not very different from the first version. Only thing is some features have been taken out, and some have been attached.
The Portal doesn’t present the accepted aesthetic appearance of the Samsung phones. The phone’s size is 115x57x13mm, but it is not too massive. Still its looks are unexciting. Down the screen, keys are crowded, which is shabby-looking. They are difficult to use. There is a red line around the OK button, which gives a distinctly cheap look. On the backside, there is plastic cover made of rubberized plastic, because of which the device can be held in hand comfortably. The ear-phones that come along with the device are also nice, but one can select of your own choice as there are standard 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB port on the upper side of the handset.
Alternative to the AMOLED display, the TFT screen have been used in the mobile phone, which is classier. However the display is good and it has a resolution of 320x480 which is really good taking the cost of the phone into consideration. It is indeed bright and in fact a little more natural than that on the AMOLED screen. Above all, it has capacitive technology which is more responsive to touch than the resistive technology.
